Measuring

Accurate measurements are important in ordering your new shades; click here for our complete guide to measuring for custom window treatments

- Stock sizes are measured in feet and will be made 1 inch smaller in width to ensure proper fit

- Custom measurements should be to the nearest 1/8 inch. Width is measured left to right and Length is measure top to bottom 

- If your shade will be mounted inside a window frame (IM), measure the    exact inside width of the window frame and then measure the length in inches. We will deduct 1/2 inch in fabrication to ensure proper fit inside the window frame

- If your shade will be mounted outside of the window frame (OM) measure the exact size

Shipping

- We will always use the fastest, most economical and direct method of shipping available to us

- Shades up to and including 102" in width can be shipped via UPS, please contact us for a quote 

- Shades larger than 102" in width must be shipped by truck, please contact us for a quote

- All Shipments are F.O.B. Factory at Dallas, PA

 

 

 

Ordering

Orders can be placed via fax, phone, or email and should include (order form):

- Sizes: width & length (Note if the measurement is IM or OM) and quantity

- Pattern type (Columbia has 9 patterns)

- Color: Columbia offers 40  colors or your customized color may be used

- Style: Roman fold or Roll-up (Clutch Roman or Clutch Roller available at an additional cost)

- Payment should be by check at the time of order

- Address for shipment

• Because different types of woods are used in these patterns, the appearance of some of the colors will vary somewhat from their appearance in the basswood color decks. If you are in doubt about a color, please request a sample. 
  

• Matchstick, though highly desirable, has proven particularly hard to work with. Length measurements may vary from left side to right side of shades and shades may exhibit some twist. 
  

• When Natural wood #36 is ordered; wood color, grain, and weaving warp may vary significantly from your sample.
  

• Tortise shades may exhibit some natural irregularities such as split slats, knots, etc.
  

• Most of our orders are for custom size shades, it is your responsibility to provide accurate measurements.
